We were so happy to see an American TV show visiting Uganda, and we were glad to see where they visited while here. As you see, most tourists skip Kampala, going straight from the airport to the most popular destinations such as visiting the Mountain Gorillas, or one of our many beautiful National Parks such as Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls or the Rwenziru Mountains. Yet there are also many things to see and experience while in the capital city of Kampala. The TV show Amazing Race is a program that has contestants competing against each other to race around the world. Their stop in Uganda was such a nice one as the contestants raced up a Minaret for a beautiful view of the city, and then they visited Owino Market to eat a Rolex, and finally they even traveled to the outer reaches of Kampala suburbs that touch Lake Victoria. This route is similar to one of our food tours that we already offer, but we decided to create a new tour which follows the path of Amazing Race.
